Tobi Sweet Intentions Sheath Dress (here)
Back at it again with another cute dress from Tobi! I love the simplicity of this dress and how you can easily dress it up or dress it down. I decided to give it a more urban vibe with my favorite bomber jacket. Also, I made it a bit more conservative for daytime wear by layering a black tank top underneath, but you can easily skip this step and you are ready for a night out! Blue Bell

Tobi front and center bell sleeve romper (here)
Hello, lovelies! Happy hump day. I hope this week has treated you well thus far. If not, before you know it, the weekend will be here once again. Today’s post features another fabulous piece from Tobi. I had yet to add a cute romper to my wardrobe and when I saw this one, I knew it was the one. I love how simple, yet still chic it is. The bell sleeves and center buttons definitely add to its’ apparent charm. Also, since it’s a bit loose, it is incredibly comfortable to wear. Although I didn’t wear it in these photos, I think a lacy bralette would look so cute peeking out from underneath this romper!
As I mentioned in my previous post, Tobi offers 50% your first purchase! If that doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know what will. Also, be sure to check out some of the other items they offer:

All Tied Up

Tobi All Tied Up Shift Dress (here)
Hello, lovelies! Lately, I have been seeing a lot of neck accessories like scarves. chokers, etc. I got this beautiful, light pink shift dress in from Tobi that has a built in necktie! How convenient, right? This is my envision of the perfect spring outfit. I love how light and breathable the fabric is, which will make it wearable even into the heat of summer. Also, the dress itself is made very well and has a built in slip so nothing shows. I can see myself wearing this on a casual lunch date.
If you have never shopped from Tobi before, you get 50% off your first order! Be sure to check out some of their other cute clothes:

Review: Snupped Phone Cases

Hello, lovelies! As a blogger and as someone simply just living in 2016, my cell phone tends to be glued to my side. I am sure this is something you all can relate to! So, why not treat the cell phone as a fashion accessory and invest in a cute case for it. Snupped reached out to me to review some of their phone cases (I have the Galaxy S5) and I am here to give my honest review.

I was so excited because Snupped offers a variety of designs that were unique and fashionable. I ended up choosing this one and this one. First off, I placed the order for the cases January 8th and just received the other case this week. I am not sure if they give priority to their actual customers and bloggers second, but in any case, it took way longer than expected. Secondly, I received the gold line case on February 16th and have had it on my phone since then. The white parts of the case are now discolored, the corner/side of my case broke off (granted, I dropped it on my floor, but it wasn’t that hard), and part of it is chipping.

That being said, I like the phone cases a lot, but I don’t think it’s worth the $34-$39 investment. If you are interested, I would go for a darker colored case so its’ appearance will last longer. However, I did hear that Snupped offers great laptop sleeves in other really awesome designs that will surely last you a long time. You also have the option of customizing all the products with your own design, which is pretty neat. But in the end, I am afraid to say I do not recommend their phone cases for someone who needs something durable.

Fashion Wishlist: $15 and under!

I love a good buy. I’ve mentioned time and time again that it is hard to find the finances for clothes all of the time as a student in college. I am not ashamed that I love discount shopping, especially for trendy pieces. I recently discovered #Bang Good#, a marketplace with a variety of products, women’s fashion included. I managed to find some pieces I am really digging and the best part is that they are all under $15!

Slim turtleneck – $4.99

The first is this turtleneck and obviously what drew me towards it was the sheer sleeves! I saw a similar item on a different website but was not too sure about it because it was translucent all over. However, this one is just on the sleeves and I think that this makes it much more wearable and classy. Plus, it is a turtleneck and I love turtlenecks!!

Lace Blouse – $11.99

Similar to the first one, this top is a mock neck with beautiful lace paneling! I immediately thought that this could be a good holiday party top. It would look so good with black pants or even a red pencil skirt. It is also a bit sheer at the top, but again in a classy, elegant way. It could really dress up an outfit.

Bodycon dress – $14.99

This probably fits in with the “Kylie fashion” trend going on, Not too much of a fan, but not going to lie that I dig the style of this dress. I love body hugging pieces and I think this is so cute for going out! The cinched side is a great detail and really accentuates your curves (ideal for me because I don’t have any, haha), And for $15? Can’t beat it.

Tartan Shawl – $4.88

During the fall/winter, if you see me outdoors, I am most likely wearing a scarf. I usually cannot leave the house without one because I get so cold easily and it makes a huge difference. I love this tartan print one because of how big it is. It seriously is so versatile and I can picture myself wearing it like a poncho/shawl over top of a plain long sleeve because that trend is huge right now.

What’s your favorite piece?

Hidden Jewel

 H&M blazer, cami
Jewel Toned “out all night” skirt (here)
Forever 21 heels

H&M crop top
Jewel Toned “out all night” skirt (here)
Mossimo heels

I was ecstatic when I saw this skirt in my mailbox from Jewel Toned. First of all, let me set this straight. This skirt is shapewear a.k.a. a garment that supposed to remain strictly under your outfit, not seen by anyone else but you. Throw this misconception away. Shapewear is a staple that is perfect to use as the base of your outfit. And if you happen to have some as cute as the ones from Jewel Toned, I promise you will want to let people see!
I love this skirt because of the bright, bold color. If you have been a reader of Enclothed Cognition for some time now, you know I gravitate towards black and other neutral colors. However, this skirt is so beautiful, I had to make an exception. It screams summer. In the first outfit I showed a more work appropriate option where you can use the Out All Night mini as a pencil skirt. However, in the second outfit  showed how you can wear it out as is. I also love this piece because of the actual quality. It’s such comfortable fabric that really slims your entire body. Plus, the lace and subtle polka dots make it so cute!
Would you wear shapewear as outerwear? 🙂

Prom Season

Two years ago around this time of year, my entire high school class was preparing for our senior prom. Looking back now, it’s hard to believe that was not too long ago (look how long my hair was)! I remember I didn’t even care if I went to prom or not because I wasn’t really spirited or into school functions at all..but I am grateful I went and the guy pictured above asked me to go (my current boyfriend). Years from now, it will be one of the things I remember most about high school. If you’re currently in high school, please go! You’ll only regret it later. Trust me, you will have fun even if you’re just going with some girlfriends!

I was fond of my prom dress, but if I could go back and change it, I probably would! I have decided to help those of you in high school out by sharing my favorite prom dresses from Sherry London!

1. Full Glamour. If I wanted to go all out for my prom, I would definitely go with this dress. You should pick a gown that is suitable to your body type and I tend to think that slim fitting dresses look best on me. I love how daring this is with the middle cut out and the large slit on the side. You will definitely make a lasting impression on your peers!
2. Sweet & Sophisticated. This prom dress is probably the opposite of the first one I chose. However, I do think that this one is more classy with the ivory color and less exposed skin, I love the detail in the back and I think that the mermaid silhouette is gives a very feminine vibe.
3. Bright & Bold! Although you guys know I prefer neutrals, I thought this electric blue prom dress was gorgeous! Again, this one features really unique cut outs that are irresistible. Plus, the asymmetrical hemline allows you to show off your legs and shoes!
So, those are my choices for prom dresses if I were able to go back and choose a new one! Sherry London has so many dresses to chose from and just these long gowns that I have showed you! They have cocktail dresses, evening dresses, and bridesmaids dresses as well. One stop for all of your formal needs! What’s your favorite prom memory?

GAP oxford shirt, Banana Republic trousers, Cole Haan loafers, Braetan coat

I took pictures today in my messy room, so I apologize. I was recently introduced to a website, Invaluable, the world’s largest online auction marketplace. They have everything from gorgeous watches like the one that I found to art and antiques. You could definitely score some designer, luxury items for an incredible bargain. I chose this particular watch (Men’s Vintage Rolex Oysterdate Precision) because I was drawn to the black face (Y’know my love for black) and how it looks so strikingly beautiful with the gold numbers. Although this may be a men’s watch, I think that anyone could pull it off. I feel so professional when wearing a watch so the outfit I chose is business casual. I think that accessory goes perfect with the tailored trousers and leather loafers. Am I going to campus or another day in the office? Haha
