Good afternoon! I am pretty sure that I have once relayed my adoration for elephants at least once before this post. If I had to choose a spirit animal, I would most definitely be an elephant. They are such gentle and intelligent creatures. My best friend gave me this tank for my birthday and needless to say, I was in love. What’s your favorite animal?
As a college student, I work part-time at Old Navy and I have been there for four years now. I don’t usually shop there, but I did pick up these adorable cross strap slides the other day. I was in need of a casual pair of shoes that are fashionable, yet comfortable so I can just put them on and be out the door. The neutral color palette pairs perfectly with my elephant shirt!

Vertical Stripes

Cole Haan loafers

Happy Tuesday! I cannot believe how quickly the summer seems to be passing by us. To think that it is almost July is crazy to me. I need to remind my self to enjoy the remaining weeks because before long, I will be back on campus slaving away at schoolwork. Today is a rather boring day, but to be honest I love those days the most sometimes. I can definitely be a homebody and I don’t mind lollygagging around the house. It gives me time to be productive and get things done! Therefore, I kept today’s outfit simple and laid back. I love this shirt because of the vertical stripes, but the silhouette is kind of boxy, so I paired it with more a more streamlined bottom. As for accessories, you cannot go wrong with a hat and loafers for a chill day.

Dress Link top (here)

Mossimo heels

So, here is part II of my review with Dress Link. I love this top because of the unique layering in both the front and back. I decided to pair it with this skirt with similar draping because it provides some continuity. If you do decide to purchase this, I would just be careful with your undergarments as the fabric is quite sheer. I suggest wearing one of those nude sticky bras underneath to avoid any embarrassment.
Also, pardon the style of photography of these photos. I was just trying out something different but shooting in a mirror. I won’t usually shoot like this in the future! Just trying some stuff out 🙂

Let’s Play

Dresslink matching set (here)
H&M sandals
Forever 21 necklace, sunnies
Happy Sunday! I have finally received my  package from Dress Link and am here to share my thoughts. First off, the shipping took quite some time, but I expected this as they were coming from China and international shipping can take long. My order processed May 28 and I received my package June 13. My one complaint is that it they gave me the wrong item. I ordered a dress and they gave me a romper instead.
That being said, I love this matching set! I love how it ties in both the front and back. The material is breathable and light, being perfect for summer. I think that the thin, vertical stripes really elongate your body. Dress Link is the ideal place to go to buy all your trendy pieces. The price cannot be beat! It’s so inexpensive and there are tons of things to choose from. Stay tuned because I will be styling the shirt that I got from them as well.

Plain Jane

Rag & Bone jeaans
H&M  sandals
Romwe necklace (here)
You know I am all about deals and saving money. That has probably been my number one priority lately when it has come to shopping. So, I jumped on these jeans I found at Marshalls. Rag & Bone  jeans for only $25 is like a gift from God. I was ecstatic when I went to try them on and found that they fit me perfectly! I kept the outfit pretty basic, wearing a plain white top and denim. However, I did make it more interesting with this chunky necklace.

Gray Day

Alternative Apparel dress
Foever 21 necklaces
Mossimo heels

I found my new favorite dress. I love the casual heather grey color, but what is my favorite is the softness of the fabric. I basically feel like I am wearing pajamas when I go out, except I actually look socially acceptable. The hem of this dress is something special as well. Love the slight asymmetrical cut! To be honest, I probably will repeat this outfit so many times this summer. Dresses are amazing because it requires no effort to look cute. What’s your go-to summer outfit? 🙂

Tropical

Thrifted shirt & handbag
PLNDR skirt
Forever 21 heels

The other day I went to one of my favorite thrift stores near my home. I always leave with at least something and this time was no different. I made out like a bandit. I purchased a coffee mug, a handbag (seen above), and 5 shirts all for $23. If you have never gone thrifting before, I highly recommend you grab a friend and hit up some stores around you! There are so many hidden treasures and the prices are ridiculous, It will make places like Forever 21 seem so expensive!

White Affair

Romwe crop top & shorts (here & here)
I woke up this morning to the sound of rain. Today is another day where I stayed at home getting work done. I placed my first order from Romwe April 30…and the clothes just arrived. Needless to say, I do not think that I will be ordering from them again considering it took a whole unexpected month for my package to arrive. However. I did decided to wear this outfit from them. The crop top is a bit big, but it’s comfortable. The shorts surprisingly fit perfectly. I’ve been loving all white looks, so I hope you enjoyed my take on it today!

DIY: Hanging Succulent Garden

So one of my best friend’s birthday is today and I was debating what to get her. We always talked about how we loved these succulent gardens that we would constantly see on tumblr. So, I decided to DIY one as a present. It is really easy to make as long as you acquire all the items needed! I got everything from AC Moore and I bought the plants from Wegmans.
