Valentine’s Day Look #3: Floral Fun

February 1st is just 3 days away and here is my last Valentine’s Day look with SheIn. This last outfit is pretty casual and features this gorgeous blouse with flower decor. Embroidery has been having a huge moment in the fashion world right now, so I thought I would give it a whirl. When I wore this, I layered it underneath my black moto jacket for a complete look!

Here are some other trendy embroidery pieces I have been crushing on:

How to Stay Fit Without Going to the Gym

Hey, babes! I have been feeling so good about myself lately and have been trying to muster up as much self-love as possible. Aside from my exterior and what I wear on a day-to-day basis, I also think it is important to be healthy. I can say for a good 6 months now, I have been on a pretty consistent exercise “routine”. Now, I am definitely not a trained professional of any sort. In fact, this is exactly the opposite. I have attempted to go the gym, but honestly whenever I go in I feel intimidated by all of the daily gym-goers and I don’t feel comfortable at all working out. Maybe if I went with someone who could train me, but that is not happening any time soon, haha!

Today’s post is all about how I work out at home. Obviously everyone’s body is different, but I found that this is what is effective for me. I try and workout for about half an hour every night. I realize this isn’t a lot of time for some people, but for my lifestyle I like workouts that are straight to the point. So what do I use? Youtube videos! I found that these instructional videos are the best for me because you can do them in the privacy of your own home and they are free! I typically choose routines that target my butt and abs and sprinkle some cardio in between. I thought I would layout all my routines for the week. *Note you should stretch before beginning

Sunday (Abs):

Monday (Butt):
Tuesday (Cardio):
Wednesday (Abs):
Thursday (Butt):
Friday (Rest Day)

Saturday (Abs & Cardio):
Some glute days during the week, I swap out all videos for some floor work with my 10 lb. ankle weights for about 20 minutes. I don’t follow this exactly every week and sometimes I try a new video here and there, but this is the basic premise and I have done all of the above workouts numerous times now and each one has me feeling amazing at the end!
Obviously with wanting to look good, you also have to eat good. This I have been trying to get better at, but I am a bit more lax. However, I do try my best to eat healthy and avoid snacking! I hope some this helps you get a bit more motivated. Working out and getting fit is definitely possible even if you are not a gym person like I am. If you have any questions, leave them below and I will try to help you as best I can.

Valentine’s Day Look #2: Romantic Red

Happy Monday, babes! Kicking off the week with some more Valentine’s Day outfit inspo. This is probably my favorite look out of all of them because I am so in love with this ruffle top from SheIn. The shoulder cut-outs definitely give it that sexy vibe without being too glaring, which is perfect for a lovely V-Day dinner date, right?  I kept with the sensual theme with these lace up pants I found from the thrift store.

By the way, are any of my readers heading to NYFW next month? I will be there from February 11-12, so if any of you are interested in linking up, shoot me an email! ❣️

Also, I decided to share some of my current favorites so check out my 8tracks playlist here or via the link on the sidebar of my blog!

Valentine’s Day Look #1: Lovely Lace

This is what happens when you are shooting a Valentine’s Day lookbook in the absence of your boyfriend — you use your dog as a stand in. No shame!

I am proud to introduce my mini Valentine’s Day series in partnership with SheIn! The day of love is less than one month a day so I am going to share some looks that would be perfect for occasion. This first look features this gorgeous lace top. My favorite features are the off-the-shoulder and bell sleeve trends incorporated within. There is honestly nothing more romantic than some lace. This particular outfit is perfect for an afternoon brunch date with the man or some girlfriends.

You’re Spectacular – GlassesUSA.com Review

@mskerih

Fun fact: When people say “blind as a bat”, they are basically referring to my natural seeing capabilities (or lack thereof). My eyesight is so terrible and I have been on this enduring quest to find the absolute perfect pair of frames that 1) Stay on my Asian-structured nose and 2) I feel completely confident in. I have been so reliant on my contact lenses ever since I got them when I was in fifth grade. I wear them everyday because glasses were a nuisance to me. I found that pushing my frames back up on my nose every 5 seconds was quite bothersome and have never really fallen in love with a pair.

However, I am being completely honest with you. These prescribed glasses I received from GlassesUSA.com are absolutely amazing. They have the non-slip nose pads that forces them to stay securely on my face (even when I look down)! The best part is, I actually think they look good on me from all angles. I had a similar metal framed pair but always thought they were slanted on my face weird so I stopped wearing them.

These frames are definitely a quality product. The frame feels quite sturdy and durable, which is good because I am a proven klutz and cannot live with a flimsy pair of glasses. I feel these metal frames glasses have the ability to look good on everybody, but if these are not your cup of tea,  GlassesUSA.com has more than 2,500 styles (in-house and designer brands) for you to choose from. Plus, it will not break the bank. A complete pair of glasses, frames and lenses, starts at just $48. If you are in the market for some new spectacles, I highly recommend GlassesUSA.com!

Thanks, Global Warming

Last week, mother nature tricked me into thinking we were collectively skipping winter and transitioning straight into spring as temperatures reached an unusual 60 degrees during January. Global warming is real people (I am pointing at you Trump). However, without thinking too much of the serious implications, I can say I was enjoying the unseasonable weather and managed to wear this outfit comfortably. What a time to be alive.

If you couldn’t tell from my last ootd post, I am all about the comfortable pants right now and these wide-leg pants are no exception. They consume my petite frame so I balanced it out with a plain black tube top and a black duster coat to top it all off.

Soft Lighting

I present to you, the comfiest outfit I seriously have ever worn. I basically paired all my silk fabric pieces together to create this casual, track look. Not only is it so cozy, but it also contains a decent amount of color which is something I am trying to work on in 2017. The pink trim on the jacket matches with the pink slip camisole and the maroon pants just tie everything together quite nicely.
